Department Governing Board
The Geschwister-Scholl-Institute for Political Science is an academic department within the Faculty of Social Sciences at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, where the teaching units in the field of political science are organized.
The department is governed by the council of directors, whose voting members are the institute's professors, the womens representative as well as a representative of the academic staff. Students representatives have an advisory role. The council of directors is headed by two professors who assume the functions of executive and deputy director, respectively. The administration office provides administrative and logistical support.
