European Consortium of Political Research (ECPR)
The European Consortium of Political Research was founded in 1970 as an independent association with the goal of furthering the cooperation and interconnectedness of political scientists in Europe. This goal is achieved mainly through international conferences, workshops, meetings, summer and winter schools, as well as ECPR-sponsored journals and book series. There are currently over 400 institutions from more than 50 countries organized within the ECPR network.
Since 2012, Klaus Goetz is serving a six-year term as a member of the Executive Committee of the ECPR.
