Cai Tingjian is a doctoral candidate in Political Theory since October 2014, and he works also as a research assistant at the Chair for Political Theory since October 2017. His research theme is on the political-religious relationship since the modernization of China in the 20th century.
He got his bachelor degree in political since at the Renmin university of China in 2011, and master degree in political theory at the same university in 2013. During his master studies he has also studied political science
and German at the Georg-August university of Göttingen.
