Center for Applied Policy Research (C·A·P)

The Center for Applied Policy Research is one of the largest university institutes for policy advice on European and international issues in Germany. As an umbrella for practice-oriented third-party funded research, it was founded in 1995 by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Werner Weidenfeld.

The C·A·P raises its operational funds through projects and partnerships with foundations, state institutions and companies. It organizes scientific expertise in order to develop strategies and options for current political issues. The Center's research groups and diverse projects combine international and interdisciplinary analysis with concrete proposals for political practice.
