Timeline

Students should look for a supervisor between July and August 2026 and contact them during their office hours or by email to agree on the topic of the Master's thesis.

Registration for the Master's thesis and the accompanying seminar is carried out by the supervisors forwarding the completed registration form to the study programme coordination within the registration period from 18 August 2026 to 25 August 2026.

According to the current examinations regulations, students have 22 weeks to complete their Master's thesis. The deadline for submission is 26 January 2027.

The accompanying seminar takes place concurrently with the thesis under the supervision of the respective supervisor (no online enrollment required). As part of this mandatory seminar, students must present their master’s thesis in the form of a presentation (30–60 minutes). The presentation is assessed and graded separately as an independent examination component.
